Re: Domain-specific instances of ClassOfIndirectProperty in
If I understand problem correctly, some naming conventions should be agreed first. IndirectPropretyX specific for domain A and its namesake IndirectPropertyX for domain B can not have the same label. Probable domain reference should be included in the name. Additional classification by domain COCOR ...

Re: Protege won't read the owl from Template Specifications
Something very subtle. Hope Onno and Hans will see this thread and investigate the mistake. Looks like roles are referenced in all three Deprecated... template definitions as <owl:onProperty rdf:resource="owl:annotatedProperty"/> <owl:onProperty rdf:resource="owl:deprecated"/> Some roles (like depre...

Re: Part 4 spreadsheets - in machine readable xls and csv
What kind of comparison you are planning? In my understanding completely new mapping of these spreadsheets is required to include all data in RDL. To do such mapping a number of decision should be taken. For example, whether to map alternative URIs to alternative URIs, or to common string identifier...

Re: Protege won't read the owl from Template Specifications
Current version of my Editor can not rebuild signatures also. But the newest alpha version returns some useful diagnostics! Looks like all problems are from the last empty template. I've just deleted everything from line 36883 to the end of the file (except the last line of course). And now my Edito...

Re: Lists in Template Roles?? Options/Objections/Solutions?
Is your case such that you can guarantee that your template will NEVER change? What exactly would that case be? I'm talking here about entities which represent geometry objects, like point sets or vector sets. Persistent identity is not required for them, as well as I can understand, therefore no n...

Re: Lists in Template Roles?? Options/Objections/Solutions?
Modelling of unordered lists as ESOC is obvious. To form the list we just need template ClassificationOfClassWithEnumeratedSetOfClass (but current http://15926.org/templatespecs/CL-CLSIF-01b.xml is not good for that bacause of hasUrClass role which is not used in our case). Unfortunately I don't und...

Re: Structures for the publication of TIPs
This parameter will resolve the problem, but I can not see it in the model. More then that, such third role is completely unnecessary. In templates existential quantifier (or Scolem variable) is used to hide exactly this type of unnecessary data items. Why do we return them into patterns?

Re: Structures for the publication of TIPs
Andy, I'm looking at templates comprising Coating Color TIP in a TIP database. There are templates AssemblyOfIndividual and ClassificationOfIndividual. As well as I can understand it, both templates have a fixed individual mapped to their roles and restricted by an EXTERNAL COATING class. And there ...

Re: Structures for the publication of TIPs
Are you trying to manage constraints on parameters for the TIP? if two roles in the template expansion must have the same value then surely there is one parameter for the TIP? No, here I'm thinking about template roles which are not mapped to TIP parameters, like the roles under the existential qua...

Re: Structures for the publication of TIPs
Sorry, I've overlooked tips:hasTemplate predicate :-( If this is just two template roles with the same class reference then each one can be defined independently. Yes, I'm thinking about this case. The same class reference is OK, but it is essential part of the pattern semantics that these roles are...
