Re: Namespaces -- the final decision
For the proposal on the JORD namespace this namespace seems ok: http://posccaesar.org/rdl I propose that namespace-fractionID should be chosen such that there is the least chance on having to change it. Two examples: A class is proposed in the JORD RDL which is candidate for standardization in ISO 1...

Re: PART 9 - ISSUES
Warning: be careful; docx with revisioning. Cannot be handled in Open Office. The main comment in the scope section is about methods to populate the ISO 15926 endpoints not being in scope of part 9. To this I would like to respond. In the old part 7, which had sections about facades; the predecesso...

Re: Namespaces -- the final decision
We can't use Posc Caesar in a namespace. That was the reason we had rdlfacade.org We are not allowed to use the name of a specific standardization body in a namespace of an international standard. Personally I also think it is a good practice to never use a namespace that is in fact a resolvable URL...

Re: Some questions and suggestions to the p7tm
On 1) and 2) I think it's better to wait on the new template model you guys are developing. On 3) I don't know what the meaning is of an RDLTemplateStatement Location (the RDL) has nothing to do with models. Location is about namespaces and even then it can be having another endpoint address than na...

ISO 15926-8 RDF/OWL attachments
These are the RDF/OWL files which are attached with ISO 15926-8
These are revised. The namespace addresses have been updated to the MMT decided new addresses.
This is not a discussion thread. Locked for that reason.

Re: Template defined and used are different
The list on Template specs is the master list. The publications done will out-date eventually when the discussions are evolving the templates. So the infowebml.ws publications should be seen as a guide, while the template specs are always the latest version. All templates on the template specs list ...

Updates to ISO 15926-8
This thread is the parking lot of comments that need to be implemented in a future version of part 8. 1. Part 8 has "p7tm:hasDataRoleFiller" on page 25. Should be "p7tm:valDataRoleFiller" as in p7tm.owl ontology. 2. In Part8_sample_tpl.owl in template AssemblyRelation all 4 cardinality role names ar...

Re: Do we really need The Globally Unique IDs?
Victor, agreed with that. We had the problem of installed base (programs/databases already using the data) already a couple of times. The solution we came up with was to allow an object to have multiple namespaces and IDs. But not to have no namespace; that is always wrong. So an object can have a n...
